Ingredients for baking

  • Almond milk
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Avocados (can be used in some recipes as an egg/ oil replacer)
  • Baking powder (GF)
  • Baking soda (GF)
  • Bananas (work well as an egg replacer and thickener)
  • Bob's baking mix
  • Chocolate chips (GF/ V) (Be careful when buying chocolate chips, even dark chocolate chips will often contain milkfat or other milk products. "Enjoy Life" makes good chocolate chips)
  • Coconut (dessicated)
  • Cornstarch
  • Cream of tartar
  • Dates
  • Earth Balance margarine (can be used interchangeably in recipes calling for butter or margarine)
  • Ener-G egg replacer http://www.ener-g.com/
  • Flaxseed oil
  • Food coloring
  • Golden syrup
  • Grapeseed oil
  • Honey
  • Lemon (for juice and rind)
  • Maple Syrup
  • Molasses
  • Nuts (walnuts and pecans my favorite baking nuts. Peanut butter and almond butter can be used in some recipes too)
  • Oats (GF)
  • Pam cooking spray (good for spraying pans before flouring)
  • Raisins
  • Rice flour (white)
  • Salt
  • Spices: cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, cloves
  • Sugar: cane, confectioners, light brown
  • Tapioca flour
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (my favorite is Ghirardelli's) 
  • Vanilla extract
  • Vegetable oil
  • Xantham gum
  • Yeast (GF) either quick/fast rising or make sure to let it sit in the slurry for extra time
